# How to start on DemonRoad - Mystel

First, you have to read the rules of our server to avoid getting banned.

# Rules

WARNING

Knowledge of the Rules is MANDATORY for every player! If you say "I didn't know it wasn't allowed", etc. it will NOT be any excuse! You will be punished/banned/kicked!

  1. You are not allowed to speak any language other than English in global chat. Also you are not allowed to harass, curse, threaten or be racist against anyone. This includes character, pet and guild names.
  2. You will follow the instructions of GMs while in the game!
  3. Characters with names that are not allowed (obscene, offensive, GM, GMA, EM, Admin, Mod, Moderator) will be deleted.
  4. You will not attempt to interfere with or hack into our servers or our website.
  5. You are not allowed to pretend to be a GM or any workers of the Silkroad company, violation of this rule is a permanent ban.
  6. It is not your duty to enforce the rules of DemonRoad, the in game GMs will do that job. However, if you notice any violations of these rules, you must contact the GM. When contacting GMs, you are not allowed to harass or threaten GMs for any cause.
  7. Do NOT share your account info with anyone else, we are not responsible for hacking of accounts if you share your info.
  8. If you insult any team member (GMs, EMs, Moderators etc.), immediate ban is your reward.
  9. We know Silkroad (DemonRoad) is not a perfect game, there are quite a lot of bugs. However, if you see a bug, do not abuse it, instead, you should report the bug immediately and we will fix it as soon as possible.
  10. Virtual items and characters are all properties of Silkroad (DemonRoad) company. Exchanging in game items, characters or helping of level of any kind for real world money is not allowed what so ever.
  11. Do not openly (for example, using globals) insult, harass, or threaten any in game members, this is a violation of our chat etiquette. You may not use harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language!
  12. Do not use PMs to lie, or plan to harass others with friends. We're trying to build a friendly community that's suitable for everyone.
  13. There is no refund whatsoever on ordered DP's. If you issue a refund, you will get banned.
  14. GMs will NEVER ask for your ID or password and other account infomation. If you give your info to a GM or any player, it's not our responsibility that you get hacked.
  15. GMs are not allowed to interfere with in game personal and community problems. If there was such problems, you may not ask the GMs for help.
  16. You are not allowed to abuse bugs in game for duplicating or making money, gears/items, or power leveling. If you were caught doing so, your character may be rolled back, deleted, and worst cases your account will be banned.
  17. In case of rollback, we are not responsible for any lost items.
  18. You are not allowed to spam in any chat window (PM/all chat) to any normal players/GMs/EMs in any situations.
  19. If GMs/EMs make separated events like Summoning Events for Euro chars & Chinese chars on different places, please come to the event according to your character type. If you have Chinese char then you must go to Chinese's side (Chinese Summoning Event), if you have Euro char then you must go to Euro's side(Euro Summoning Event). You could be kicked or banned if you violate this rule.
  20. Cheating with lottery ticket (earn without trade) is forbidden. For example: stealing your own trade using your own other chars. You are not allowed to run around in one or more place, which is far from the city or the trade routes. Even if you are not afk / using bot. You are not allowed to use more than 1 trader account during a trade run. Each trade must be unique! You are not allowed to ask other players to drop loot for you. You can't be afk during trade runs!   21. Using any kind of speed bug is highly forbidden.
  22. You are not allowed to advertise any website, service or pornography/racist/fascist content ingame. If you do, you will be banned.
  23. Nobody is obligated to trade with anyone. If you are scammed, hacked or harmed during trade, it's your fault, therefore we are not responsible if any items are lost! Keep in mind that you could call GM or EM to be a middle man if you want to (WTT+Gold) or (WTB/WTS 500B++) with someone. We do not recommend you to use/call/contact normal player to be your middle man.
  24. DemonRoad - Mystel official site is http://mystel.demonroad.net. Please do not visit any other sites imitating our official sites trying to scam&hack your account.
  25. Those who even try to cheat in any way in game or on our website, will get permanently banned, no exceptions.
  26. If you notice someone cheating, you may report him/her to our GMs (both screenshot and description will be required!)
  27. Global chat spam is not allowed! (Even if you are doing it for achievement or not). Spam means more than 5 messages in a row.
  28. Secondary guilds and more than 1 character/user is NOT ALLOWED in the Fortress War. You and all of your accounts will be permanently banned without a single warning if you ignore this rule.
  29. You are not allowed to enter with more than 1 character inside Job Temple / Battle Arena / CTF / Survival Arena.
  30. All the rules above are made by us and we reserve the right to modify and change them anytime we wish. It is the player's responsibility to always check to see the changes to avoid violating them.

# Leveling Up

Kronos is a level 1 unique which gives you a lot of experience and skill points. Kronos can spawn in every reverse spot, including some extra spots close to Constantinople and Jangan towns.

There're also many events on DemonRoad can help you building your character, like the Normal summoning event and the Low Summoning event. The Low summoning event is made only for the low levelers so they can level up in this event and gain skill points as well. You can also buy unique scrolls from the DemonRoad Item Shop NPC at Donwhang Storage to kill them or tell someone to kill them for you, they also give a lot of experience and skill points.

# Building your character

There are several ways from you can get gold on DemonRoad. As example hunting Kronos, when this unique is killed it drops globals, reverse return scrolls and arena coins. Also, it's mostly recommended to go for trades and collecting lottery tickets. Lottery tickets are items which you can exchange for expensive items.

# Auto equipment system

By typing the following commands into all chat, you will receive several items based on your character level and character race:

auto-equip armor         gives you an armor set with accessories and weapons
auto-equip protector     gives you a protector set with accessories and weapons
auto-equip garment       gives you a garment set with accessories and weapons

auto-equip heavyarmor     gives you a heavy armor set with accessories and weapons
auto-equip lightarmor     gives you a light armor set with accessories and weapons
auto-equip robe           gives you a robe set with accessories and weapons

Required free slots in your inventory: 20

# Item comparison system

Hold the ALT button + hover your cursor to the item you want to compare to your equipped item.

# Level bonuses

If you level up your character, you will receive the following bonus(es):

  • Reaching lv100: +20 Reputations, +20 Achievements

# Avatar Boxes

You can get Avatar Boxes from Lottery Tickets. If you click on these boxes you will receive seasonal avatar parts. For more info about the available avatars please check the item description.

# Alchemy rate

+1 ... +5 = easy
+6 ... +10 = medium
+11 ... +12 = hard
